The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback on how the New Jersey Department of Education can improve the School Performance Reports. We want to know if and how you use these reports, what data is most important to you when you are looking at school performance, and how we can best present that data in our reports so it is easy to understand and use. Each lecture features a scientific professional from the Metuchen community, who will be speaking about his/her career, research, scientific interests, and advice for students. Lectures are open to all members of the community, unless otherwise indicated. SNHS members are required to attend at least one lecture.

Dr. Caputo presented the 2016-2017 district goals update at the December 20, 2016 Board meeting.
PARCC 2015-16 test results were presented at the October 18th Board of Education meeting.
At the September 27 Board of Education meeting the administration presented to the Board of Education and community the AP, SAT and ACT data from the 2015-16 school year.
Dr. Caputo presented the district goals for 2016-2017 at the August 30th Board of Education Meeting.
Superintendent Dr. Vincent Caputo presented the state of the school district to the staff during the August 31 In-Service.

As part of the Sustainable Jersey Schools initiative, and under the direction of Mrs. Volosin, the School Community Asset Mapping committee for Metuchen High School has created an inventory of cultural, economic, and physical resources within the Metuchen community. Both the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams at Edgar Middle School in Metuchen have enjoyed successful seasons, with one of the highlights being the second annual Pink Game Feb. 7.
Every year, coaches from Metuchen High School go to Edgar Middle School to scout players and get a glimpse of what they will be working with in a few years.
