The Metuchen High School Footlighters' fall/winter production is The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night -Time, based on the bestselling novel by Mark Haddon. Fifteen-year-old Christopher Boone is intellectually brilliant but struggles with how to handle social interactions and everyday life. When he is suspected of killing a neighbor’s dog, he sets out to solve the mystery. Winner of both the Tony and Olivier Awards for best play, The Curious Incident… takes you into the mind of a mathematical genius, through a Sherlock Holmes style mystery, and on a journey about love, family, and discovering the beauty of being different. Performances: Thursday November 29, Friday November 30, and Saturday December 1st 7:00 pm - Metuchen High School Auditorium. District Wide Parent Program
David Rubin, Board attorney, will offer an update on the HIB law and Board policy. This will take place on December 5th at the Metuchen High School auditorium. It begins at 7 pm and is open to all parents.
This year's Semi-Formal Snow Ball is Saturday, December 8 from 7-10pm. Tickets are $15 and will be sold during all lunches IN ADVANCE ONLY. Outside guests are permitted. MHS Hall of Fame Class of 2020
The Metuchen High School Hall of Fame was created to honor alumni, employees, and major contributors who have distinguished themselves by their achievements in scholarship, athletics, career, community service, and/or society as a whole. The honor of being elected to the MHS Hall of Fame will be afforded to those who, through their actions, have contributed to the established vision of the Metuchen School District. The selected Hall of Fame honorees will continue to serve as positive role models providing inspiration, hope, support, and relevance to our community.
